They released that 3.03 because of stability issues right away I think the date was 11/2/15 so I wonder if that's why yours is unstable. I did seem to be having issues (not recognizing touches) with either 2.99 or 3.0 but in couple days like I said 3.03 appeared and seemed OK till my adventure Saturday. Maybe you could at least get them to update system to check for yourself.

Hook your maxi sys to computer with a usb,then restart tablet,then on pc click remove saftly,then restart tablet again it should fix the crashing....I had that happen and that's what support said on the phone...and it worked....
